The Theosophical Society, however, has fragmented into many independent societies. For example, within the United States, there are at least four completely independent theosophical organizations: Theosophical Society in Boston, Theosophical Society of America, Theosophical Society--Pasadena, and United Lodge of Theosophists.
You are now within the website of the Theosophical Society in Boston; the websites for those other theosophical organizations are listed below.
Theosophical Society in America
Alice A. Bailey
Alice A. Bailey (1880-1949) was born in England and moved to California where she became a member of the Theosophical Society. She later left that organization to found her own school for spiritual development, the Arcane School, in New York in 1923. Bailey published many books that she believed were based on information from the spiritual realm.
A unique characteristic of the TSB is that we have regular weekly or monthly groups that study or practice the teachings of several well-known theosophists who were once part of the original Theosophical Society but who later left that organization. In particular, the TSB currently has two weekly groups that study books of Alice Bailey. The following websites are for organizations that are dedicated to Bailey's teachings.

Krishnamurti
Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) was a popular religious philosopher and teacher who attracted a world-wide following. Krishnamurti was once a member of the original Theosophical Society but left that organization and established various schools and foundations in India, Europe, and North America.
The TSB currently has a "Krishnamurti Discussion Group" that meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. The following websites are for organizations that are dedicated to Krishnamurti's teachings.

A Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles is a three-volume set of books that was first published in 1976 and has since sold more than 1.5 million copies. These are channeled books, in that the scribe, Helen
Schucman, heard an inner Voice that dictated the material.
Theosophy and A Course in Miracles share a common vision, namely, the essential unity of the world's religions. For example, the Course states (Manual, p. 3): "This is a manual for a special curriculum, intended for teachers of a special form of the universal course. There are many thousands of other forms, all with the same outcome."
The TSB has a weekly study group on A Course in Miracles that meets every Monday night. The following websites are for organizations that are dedicated to studying this set of books.

Rudolf Steiner
Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) was another member of the original Theosophical Society. He left that organization to found the Anthroposophical Society and the Waldorf School system, both of which have centers throughout the world. Rudolf Steiner also wrote hundreds of books on various topics in philosophy and religion.
The TSB has a monthly watercolor painting class that is based on the color inspirations of Rudolf Steiner. In addition, the TSB often sponsors lectures and workshops based on Steiner's teachings. The following websites are for organizations that are dedicated to Steiner's teachings.
The Anthroposophy NetworkShare International
Share International is a worldwide network of individuals and groups whose
purpose is to make known the fact that Maitreya -- the World Teacher for the
coming age -- and his group, the Masters of Wisdom, are now among us, emerging
into the public arena -- gradually, so as not to infringe human free will.
Western Mystery Tradition
The Western Mystery Tradition includes the Tarot, Qabalah, Alchemy, Astrology, and related Arcane Sciences. The TSB has two study groups concerned with the Western Mystery Tradition. One study group is accredited by the Builders of the Adytum (BOTA), which has its international headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The other study group is sponsored by the Fraternity of the Hidden Light (F.L.O.), which has its international headquarters in Castle Rock, Colorado. Both organizations could be regarded as mystery schools of the Western Mystery Tradition.
The websites for these two organizations are given below.
